801 Infinity Restobarjust opened its doors last week. A cowboy-themed restobar, located along Palma Gil St., Obrero, it is the brainchild of 15 musicians who used to hang out in the area often. The previous owner offered to sell the place to the Magic 15 and the rest is history.
This latest to-go place in Davao Cityplays the finest music everyday. The owner wanted this to be a a hub for musicians and young professionals who love and appreciate good music.
I was there during the opening, and it was such a happy place with beautiful music (mostly RnB, Soul, Pop, Disco) sang by various artists who are winners in their field. Most of them joined and won in the WCOPA, an international competition--the same contest where Filipino singer Jed Madela rose to fame.
